I really appreciate so many of you opening up about the deep-seated emotions that have been troubling your lives. The discussions on utilizing Emotional Liberation alongside plant medicine as a method to navigate and let go of these feelings – offering yourself a fresh start – have been incredibly insightful. Thank you!
In this video, I’m delving into the feedback shared by many of you, which also informs the core of what we’ll explore in my upcoming Masterclass course. See what you think (and let me know if you have questions!)

Recently, as you may know, I sent out a call for help from you to give me input and make sure that I really understand the questions – all the questions that you have about difficult emotions, facing them and releasing them, and also about psilocybin microdosing – as a powerful transformational ally in healing, yes, but also Spiritual Awakening, basically the same thing as I see it.
I spent a long time reading the responses you sent. I was excited to get your feedback. Thank you! So we’re going to be digging into some of the many poignant comments and questions that came up about moving forward and out of feeling stuck or stressed or in despair.
I’ll talk about the psilocybin part of this later but first I want to touch in on the questions where you’re asking specifically about emotions.
And first and foremost, I want us to remember that we and everything else is all energy … and “Emotions” are literally “energy in motion” … the word emotion derives from French and going further back it’s traced to Latin, where it means moving out, removing or agitating. We know how agitating difficult emotions can be.
BUT emotional energy, isn’t negative or positive… it’s the sensations that we attach to them… and those can be excruciatingly painful.
And when we can’t move these emotions through… they become trapped. And this is where my Emotional Liberation work comes in, helping people learn how to release these trapped emotions that feel so awful.
And interestingly, many people who are with me, have already done a lot of work on themselves … most often, I get people saying, “I can’t tell you how much work I’ve done on myself – yet this emotion or these emotions… I’m still struggling with.”
For example, Donna wrote in response to my request, saying: “I’m a long-time self-inquirer but I still struggle with issues around not being good enough,” she says.
And in our Emotional Liberation work, this emotion of “not being good enough” is Shame. And that emotion – that energy is lodged in the body.
In another comment, Marvin talked about an underlying melancholy that stays with him, that he’d like to release.
Others who responded to me, (thank you very much) are concerned about their interactions with others. Lewis questions his irritability and asks if it’s possible to adjust his mood in the moment – because of the way it affects people in his life. Yes you can! By the way, irritability is a low-level form of anger.
Mary wrote… speaking perhaps for many of us getting up there in age… she’s talking about memory loss. And she says fear comes up when someone challenges her memory. And she feels like she has to defend herself… and then she gets angry too. And she would like to let those yucky feeling go.
Frank wrote to say that he becomes an emotional mess when he has a conversation that doesn’t go his way and it stirs up feelings of being disrespected, misunderstood or treated unfairly. He’s wondering, “What to do about this?”
And one last illustration, Heather shares that decision-making has often been a challenge for her… she doesn’t know where to land in doing the right thing, which can be crazy-making.
However, she’s reached a significant milestone in understanding what she wants. But the catch is she’s not sure how to get there.
And this is so often what I see in those who are with me … So many of our community have done lots of work on themselves… and they’ve come to the point where they’re mostly in touch with the emotion that’s giving them the trouble… but they don’t know what to do from there.
And that’s where I want this live on-line course to go: Emotional Liberation: Escaping the Grip of Your Difficult Emotions. So you finally can have the tools for how to process and release these difficult emotions… that you might have been working on for a long time.
And so I’m going to teach you how to process them… and that’s where plant medicine comes in as a potent tool to this.
And I did get lots of questions in regard to the psilocybin, which in this course, if you wish, you can experiment with MICRODOSING psilocybin pairing it with the Emotional Liberation program we find in this experiential environment it can be be very effective. And, of course, I will support you and guide you with the plant medicine right along with everything else.
So in regard to the psilocybin, we have basically two situations – those who are less experienced with plant medicine and those who are quite familiar. Both Yvonne and Heather, who are inexperienced, are curious as to its benefit. Heather says she finds, in experimenting a little bit, a yo-yo effect where one day she’ll feel good but then feel down the following day. And Yvonne is asking how she’s going to feel with it? …hang-over, groggy, bliss. I’ll get to that.
Now on the other hand, there are those who are more experienced, and have used plant medicine – in a freelance kind of way –to try to feel better.
For instance, Mary wrote that: “I’ve taken psilocybin many times – as well as other psychedelics. But I haven’t used psilocybin WITH THE INTENT of releasing difficult emotions.”
Christopher is another one who shared with me that he uses plant medicine to relax because his emotions, as he says, “are not in a good place because of all the stress I deal with on a daily basis.”
And then he adds, “But sometimes even the strongest medicine in the world can’t change certain things.”
I believe differently… I believe it’s all about HOW you employ the plant medicine… and I have witnessed the results repeatedly hundreds of times with the combination of the Emotional Liberation techniques – that are rearranging neural networks at a deep level and then the plant medicine microdosing, amplifying those effects. It’s a powerful combination that can lead to enduring healing.
And in regard to the emotional ups-and-downs while microdosing, this can happen when a person is just winging it. That is there’s not a framework, like Emotional Liberation, to anchor the alchemy of these two together – the program and the plant medicine.
When we’re in our group masterclass, you learn how to surf these emotions as they’re released – and it can feel worse before it feels better. And so, as Yvonne is asking, you can feel a number of emotions. But once, through the work, you release the emotion, then you’ve released it, and you won’t have to re-live it again.
In my experience of doing this, this idea that I can release the yucky feeling and be emotionally, hmmm, let’s call it “re-set” was a profound realization.
So it doesn’t matter, how much experience you have had with magic mushrooms – because it’s quite different when we marry the microdosing with these emotional liberation techniques.
But in order to get these results, a person needs to bring their will and commitment to do this work. It’s not a passing interest. That’s why in this 4-week masterclass course, we’ll be immersed together, twice a week, and you will learn how to get over the hump … so you can live the rest of your life the way you want to and be in control of your emotions.
And I’ve made this live online course, where we have this wonderful group setting, very tuition accessible. Because I want everybody who is drawn to this work, to be able to do it.
You know, what I have find with my students and clients, when we have our personal 1-to-1 session that you would get for this course as well, I find that MANY people, particularly those our age, let’s say 50-plus, in their efforts to feel better, many have taken various psychedelics over the years. And often they’ve reported that they haven’t gotten the outcome they desire – and that is, to make them feel better, right?
They’ll tell me that maybe for a little while they felt better – but then the emotions pressed back OR, their journeys were scary, which left them saying, “I’m not going to do that again.”
But I’m here to tell you that when applied to this very effective Emotional Liberation framework, the results come readily. And working with the microdosing – and finding your sweet spot – and I help you do this, when you do this, it’s a gentle, methodical approach to opening yourself up to process and release whatever is causing you trouble in your life.
Now some of you might be saying, “Oh but I need the intensity of a full-on macro-journey.” I’ve had people say to me, “I’m so messed up, I need a strong full-on journey that’s going to knock it out of me.”
Hearing this makes me cringe, as it misses the mark for those in pursuit of lasting healing. The journey of Emotional Liberation delves into the depths of your psyche, aiming to unearth and confront the challenging emotions anchored by trauma. This path offers a sustainable respite, and eliminates the need for constant, intensive psychedelic interventions.
And as many of you know, I’ve been on my own journey of Awakening – coming back from struggling with intense emotions of anxiety and self-doubt, depression, so much else. So much trauma.
And psilocybin – as part of my Emotional Liberation system – has been pivotal in my own recovery and it’s really been the catalyst for me to teach others how to do this healing work for themselves.
And what you will learn if you decide to join us, is that your emotions, your difficult emotions, exist to guide and heal you. But you need to give them guidance. And we do that by offering this framework of teachings and practices and techniques to bring you face-to-face with them.
We may not like painful nerve signals, but it is detrimental to ignore them. So in our time together, you’ll learn how to receive your emotions. And be able to differentiate why you’re feeling the way you are and what to do about it.
And when we add microdosing to this equation, it can be a game changer.
So if you want to go deeper and experience, under my careful guidance, how we include psilocybin microdosing in this introductory masterclass, I invite you to go to the registration page for details, dates and the tuition.
