First, I really appreciate that you take the time to read this blog. I know how quickly a day can turn into overtime hours or running back-to-back errands, and I’m grateful you’ve made room for me!
It’s been a while since I connected on a more personal level. I usually have online community gatherings (like Elevation Ceremonies) to stay in touch. But since that hasn’t happened lately, I want to share a few things that have been going on.
My 2025 has been chock-full:
• Sudden Shift.
This was one of the biggest surprises of the year (so far).
The Shift Network reached out and invited me to teach a 7-week course called, “The Power of Cannabis for Emotional Freedom.” I was flabbergasted.
Working with plant medicine, especially cannabis, has been a deeply personal journey for me, even if it’s not always the easiest path to share publicly. Social media, in particular, made these topics challenging and my educational content always faced barriers due to concerns around regulation and censorship.

So you can imagine my delight to have a major platform, with more than 3 million subscribers, welcome my (plant-infused) teachings into their space. We had 89 registrants with complimentary thoughts like this one:
“The course delivered! It was a perfect blend of instruction about plant therapy and healing sessions. The instructor is a delight 🙂 compassionate and passionate about the subject. This course is a very welcome subject in the world where people are only finally getting in touch with this amazing healing plant. Having an experienced, established voice give shape to its use and therapeutic possibilities is a true gift.”
Acknowledgments like this touch my heart and let me know the work is effective and efficient. Thank you.

• Experimental small group retreat.
About two weeks after the final class of the Shift course, my team and I piloted a 3-day, 2-night ‘short but immersive’ sacred medicine retreat. The goal was twofold: to offer an accessible price point for a luxury villa experience in Southern Portugal, and to leave space afterward for participants to explore the region at their own pace. The feedback was very positive – our folks (7 of them!) loved the balance of depth and brevity. So we’re now considering offering more of these “compact-format” retreats. If that sounds intriguing to you, I invite you to put yourself on our interest list for future experiences.

• Life Abroad.
Ron and I have been living in Portugal for about 3 years now. It looks like our move was the beginning of a trend. We’re getting a lot of recognition for what friends call “our foresight” in leaving the U.S. Actually, back when we made the decision, it was more about adventure, curiosity, and affordable living (read: health care that doesn’t require a second mortgage).
We’re now in the thick of prepping for a move from an apartment to a house (despite Sawyer’s protests, Ron wants a backyard for a bigger dog).

We’re in the midst of packing up so I need to postpone my Cannabis Elevation Ceremonies until we’re re-settled in the new place. I’m thinking July or August. Stand by, and if you want to register for these complimentary events, you can go here.
That’s it for now, but if anything above sparked a thought (or even a beautifully random one), I’d love to hear from you. Drop a note in the comments – I always enjoy reading what you share.
With Love,
Becca
