Cannabis: Cruelty vs. Inspiration – Elevation Ceremony this Saturday

This week, we’re reminded just how much progress we’ve made – and how far we still have to go – when it comes to the global acceptance of cannabis as medicine.

A 64-year-old Canadian man is currently facing a life sentence in Dubai for possessing medically prescribed CBD oil. He was simply transiting through the Dubai airport on his way to South Africa when he was stopped, searched, and detained. His wife shared that he uses this plant medicine to manage chronic pain caused by Addison’s disease, a rare and life-threatening condition.

His trial is scheduled for Christmas Day, and our thoughts are with him and his loved ones. We hope for compassion, justice, and a swift resolution that allows him to return home.

Stories like this are sobering reminders of the stigma and misunderstanding that still surround cannabis in many parts of the world. At the same time, they underscore how fortunate we are to live in places where we can access and explore its healing potential.

And that’s what this Saturday’s Cannabis Elevation Ceremony is all about.

Cannabis as a Medicine for the Soul

For me, cannabis is more than a tool for physical relief; it’s a gentle boundary–dissolving spirit medicine. It allows us to connect deeply with ourselves, thinning the veil between our conscious and subconscious minds. When used in my emotional release process, it supports clarity, presence, and profound self-exploration.

In light of the Dubai story and the growing need to honor and celebrate this plant’s transformative power, I invite you to join me this Saturday, December 21st, for a complimentary Cannabis Elevation Ceremony. In this 75-90 minute gathering, we’ll connect with any limiting beliefs or emotional blocks and create space for renewal.

When you register, you’ll get access to a video to help you decide how much cannabis to amplify with during our time together. Alternatively, you can enhance your experience with CBD (or psilocybin microdosing as well) — OR join us without using any substances at all. The beauty of this journey is that it’s a deeply personal and experiential adventure, with or without plant medicine. The event is free, and a recording will be available for three days afterward.

This ceremony is an opportunity to not only honor the power of cannabis but to stand in solidarity with those who face adversity for embracing this plant medicine.
