Welcome! I'm glad to be working with you! Before we begin with the fun stuff, we need to take care of the mandated legalese that follows here:
By signing below, you irrevocably agree to and accept all of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. We may amend this Agreement at any time by sending you a revised version at the email address you provided.
1. You have authorized Becca Williams International LLC ("BWI") to either charge your credit or debit card or use WISE as payment for your enrollment in this retreat.
2. You agree that we may, at our sole discretion, terminate this agreement, and limit, suspend or terminate your participation in the retreat if you become disruptive or difficult to work with, if you fail to follow the retreat guidelines, or if you impair the participation of retreat instructors or participants in the retreat.
3. We respect your privacy and must insist that you respect the privacy of fellow retreat participants. You agree not to violate the publicity or privacy rights of any retreat participants.
4. By signing below, you further agree that all materials and information provided to you by BWI are its confidential and proprietary intellectual property and belong solely and exclusively to BWI, and may only be used by you as authorized by BWI, and the reproduction, distribution and sale of these materials by anyone but BWI is strictly prohibited. Further, by signing below, you agree that if you violate, or display any likelihood of violating, any of your agreements contained in this paragraph the BWI and/or the other retreat participants will be entitled to injunctive relief to prohibit any such violations to protect against the harm of such violations.
5. We have made every effort to accurately represent the retreat and its potential. The testimonials and examples used are not intended to represent or guarantee that anyone will achieve the same or similar results.
6. By signing below, you also acknowledge that you have represented to BWI that payment of your retreat registration fee will not place a significant financial burden on you or your family.
Terms of Cancellation
A full refund minus 5% admin charge will be provided for all cancellations up to 90 days prior to start day of the booked retreat.A 50% refund will be provided on cancellations between 60-89 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat.
A 30% refund will be provided on cancellations between 30-59 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat.
No refund will be provided on cancellations between 29-0 days prior to the start date of the booked retreat.
No refund/credit will be provided for premature leaving of the retreat or failure to arrive at the retreat for any reason.
Whew! Now that we have the legal stuff completed, let's review the important components and expectations of our working relationship.
RELATIONSHIP We are entering into a collaborative relationship dedicated to your growth, healing and accomplishment. Coaching is not about me having all the answers, but about my helping you discover your own. We will build trust. I will challenge you, but this should always feel safe and unconditionally supportive. Of course our work is completely confidential.
EXTRA TIME Being here for you is part of our relationship. Private 1-to-1 sessions can be scheduled with me for an additional fee of €160/hr. I do my best to respond appropriately to the urgency you convey.
There's a little more legal stuff that relates to the core work you'll be doing during our time together.
I, the undersigned, agree that I am personally responsible for the actions I take as an individual or group participant. As such, I do not hold Becca Williams, Becca Williams International LLC nor its affiliates liable for consequences of my actions, or lack thereof. I understand that Becca Williams is an Emotional Liberation facilitator, professional Life Coach, Registered Dietitian & Nutritionist, and is not an Employment Agent, Business Manager, Financial Consultant, Psychotherapist, nor Counselor.
This agreement relates to all BWI activities including but not limited to private and group coaching sessions, long-term programs, retreats, and workshops.
Please read the following information and agree to accept. If you have any questions connect with me.
• BWI program activities are intended as personal growth experiences and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy.
• BWI program activities can involve dramatic experiences accompanied by strong emotional and physical release.
• These practices are not appropriate for pregnant women, or for persons with cardiovascular problems including heart attacks, severe hypertension, severe mental illness, recent surgery or fractures, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, acute infectious illness, or epilepsy. If you have asthma please bring your inhaler to the retreat.
BY SIGNING BELOW YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS:
I certify that I do not have any of the above medical or mental health contraindications and can safely participate in this Emotional Liberation retreat.
I understand the retreat's activities are intended as personal growth experiences and should not be used as a substitute for psychotherapy or medical treatment.
I understand that the retreat activities could involve dramatic experiences accompanied by strong emotional and physical release.
If I should warrant immediate medical attention on this journey, I hereby grant permission to the medical personnel, selected by the retreat guides, to review my personal records or to contact the appropriate physician, psychiatrist, health professional or psychologist to obtain additional information on the conditions noted.
If I should warrant immediate medical attention on this retreat, I hereby grant permission to the medical personnel, selected by the retreat guides to order x-rays, routine tests and treatment for me in the event the emergency contact cannot be reached.
If I should warrant immediate medical attention on this retreat, I hereby grant permission to the physician selected by retreat guides and representatives to hospitalize, secure proper treatment for, and order injections and/or anesthesia for, and/or surgery for me.
Retreat Participant Contract Release, Waiver and indemnity of Liability Agreement
This agreement (“AGREEMENT”) is entered into by the Retreat Participant and Becca Williams International LLC, its officers, agents, principals, employees and volunteers (hereinafter collectively referred to as “BWI”).
In consideration of being admitted and permitted to participate in the retreat activities, I hereby agree as follows:
1. This agreement is made and entered into under the laws of the State of Florida and the United States and shall be interpreted, governed and enforced under and pursuant to these laws.
2. Participant agrees that should an action be brought against BWI for any reason whether to enforce the terms of this agreement or on some other basis, that all disputes between Participant and BWI will be litigated in Pinellas County, Florida and Participant waives any rights he/ she may have in litigating in any other jurisdiction.
3. Participant has reviewed the medical contraindications outlined above and certifies that he/she does not have any medical or physical conditions which would impair or affect his/her ability to engage in any activities which would cause any risk of harm to Participant, other participants and/or BWI or otherwise endanger Participant’s health while attending the BWI retreat.
Participant further agrees that it is Participant's responsibility to maintain the accuracy and contemporaneousness of all relevant medical information. BWI will assume that Participant’s medical statement is correct until Participant files an updated one or has corrected the information. The medical information is fully incorporated by reference within this agreement.
4. Participant is aware that certain activities he/she may engage in during the retreat are physically, emotionally and mentally stressful. Participant agrees to assume full responsibility for his/her own physical, emotional and mental health and holds harmless BWI from any physical, emotional and/or mental damage that may be attributed to BWI retreat events or costs which may arise out of or in connection with participation in the events.
5. Participant understands and agrees that he/she is attending the retreat at the discretion of BWI and can be dismissed from the retreat at any time without being informed of the reason for dismissal.
6. Participant waives, releases and discharges any and all claims, rights and/or causes of action which he/she now have or which may arise out of or in connection with participation in the retreat as well as which may arise out of or in connection with Participant’s attendance and/or participation in the activities associated with the retreat. Therefore, under no circumstance will Participant prosecute or present any claim for personal injury, property damage or any other cause of action against BWI.
7. This agreement is binding on Participant’s heirs, assignees, dependents, personal representatives and estate.
8. No oral representations, statements or inducements have been made to Participant to cause them to enter into this agreement.
9. At the choosing of BWI any claim or controversy that arises out of or relates to this agreement, or the breach of it, may be settled by arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Such arbitration shall be binding upon the parties and Judgment upon the award rendered may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
10. Should BWI be successful in bringing an action to enforce the terms hereof or successful in defending itself from a suit brought by Participant, BWI shall recover all costs and expenses incurred in such action, including reasonable attorneys’ fees.
11. Should any provision of this agreement be held invalid or illegal, such illegality shall not invalidate the remainder of this Agreement. In that event, this Agreement shall be construed as if it did not contain the invalid or illegal part, and the rights and obligations of the parties shall be construed and enforced accordingly.
I have read this agreement and understand it contains release of all claims language for injuries and damages. I voluntarily sign my name evidencing acceptance of the provisions of this agreement. If English is not my native language I have either studied enough English to be able to read and understand this agreement, or I've had this agreement explained to me in my native language.
