Whether you’ve been thinking about the possibility of microdosing psilocybin mushrooms or you’re already underway (155k people on the microdosing reddit forum) this is a modality whose time has come.

No, not by government standards, which typically lag behind popular opinion and acceptance. In the midst of a mental health crisis, Americans (and Westerners in general) are desperately seeking new avenues for emotional healing. They’re not waiting on the methodical science based approaches or clinical trials that take years to compile results and then legally open to the general public. Even when the public has access, the price tags for the therapies are beyond the reach of most  – as the New York Times points out in its recent article referencing 4-session ketamine treatments for $4,100 (even at that, with ketamine the “feel better” results are temporary).

But let’s talk psilocybin mushrooms – and specifically microdosing them

Although psilocybin can be a potent psychedelic, at the microdose level psilocybin has a “sub-perceptual” effect on your day-to-day activities. That is you may “perceive” subtle changes yet microdosing doesn’t affect your senses in an acutely disruptive way – you don’t feel ‘high’ and there’s no hallucinogenic effects.
But tiny amounts of the substance have the potential to reduce anxiety and irritability, relieve depression and boredom, increase creativity and sociability and provide a greater overall sense of self-assurance; there’s even reports of reducing the effects of aging.
Oh yes, although there are studies emerging, much is premised on anecdotal evidence – people reporting their outcomes, which is anathema to the scientific method. But this has not stopped people from diving in based on the mountain of accumulating personal reports that psilocybin microdosing is becoming the preferred alternative to (quoting from intelligent comments on responsible websites) the usual prescription psychotropics like SSRIs, years of therapy or full-blown psychedelic trips, EMDR, etc.

My mission is finding the most efficient and effective means of emotional and trauma healing

As you know if you’ve with been with me, as an emotions therapist, I have been employing cannabis as an assist in my Emotional Liberation® method with excellent results. When coupled with our Emotional Expansion Masterclass Courses the outcomes can be transformational in releasing self-limiting behaviors and patterns that are undermining your self-confidence and wellbeing.
Note a few of the comments from students and clients:
“The cannabis gives more insight to who we are – it’s a good combination working with the emotions and cannabis; they go together.”
– Trudy Z, WA
“Cannabis is like the motor oil for your engine that’s driving you to the solution – it’s like the mental lubricant. It makes the work more efficient.”
– Chris H, CA
“It all goes hand-in-hand… the breathing, the movement, the cannabis, the connection to Becca and the group. It all goes hand-in-hand to create a really beautiful experience.”
 – Ingrid C, UT
“The cannabis allows you to see there are other paths you may be able to take confidently.”
– Linda S, MA

Ramping up (even more) emotional healing

Emotional Liberation is a form of self-therapy where I teach you how to process and release your difficult emotions. As a clinician (and former health editor), I research tools to make this work as efficient and effective as possible with little or no down side. Yet my work draws from a different paradigm – yogic psychology and Eastern wisdom where this method is about training your mind and learning to listen to your soul.
The long and enduring history of psilocybin mushrooms in traditional cultures underscores its ability to support this inner exploration. I see microdosing psilocybin as a tool to help those who are bombarded with incessant thoughts and dissociation that challenges their ability to enter a meditative state.
It’s for this reason I’m excited to be opening my Emotional Expansion programs to those who are microdosing psilocybin mushrooms or considering it. When coupled with our Emotional Expansion Masterclass Courses the outcomes can be transformational in releasing self-limiting behaviors and patterns that are undermining your self-confidence and wellbeing.
If this is of interest to you in being in this early cohort, I invite you to join my waiting list at this link. Our first exploration begins this July and August.
I look forward to connecting.
With Love,
